There is still time to make something for Christmas, whether it is a decoration, Advent calendar, stocking for Father Christmas or crazy patchwork table runner. It is always very touching to receive a present made with love, so how about spending the day in one of my Christmas sewing classes making something special for someone special. It doesn’t have to be complicated; it can be a simple pair of pyjama bottoms made in a fun print that you know will strike a chord. For a child it could be a new dress or trousers or waistcoat to wear on Christmas day.
If you are stuck for a present, how about a gift voucher for an indulgent day of sewing for someone who has wanted to start a new hobby or get the machine out of the cupboard? Or if you are planning a day out together with a friend or relation my full day Christmas sewing classes within easy reach of Sudbury and Hadleigh, Bury Set Edmunds, Colchester and Ipswich will give you a chance to switch off from all those other chores and let you have a little bit of “me” time. Go on, spoil yourself and at the same time, start getting those Christmas presents done early.
